The cost includes any gloves we will use day-of, and a goodie bag with books, viral filters, pocket masks and 2 level 3 masks and laminated certificates that are good for 3 years.
Scott has also shared that he can run us through a live scenario on the docks of what to do in case someone has a heart attack in the dragon boat, so it will be a very valuable experience for us!
Oddball Fall Classic
We close out the season with 200m sprints at False Creek, Vancouver.
Concord Pacific Summer Regatta
A shorter, replacement version of the 2-day Concord event usually held in June.

An interactive session for makers and thinkers to collaborate, connect, and spark new ideas.
Team Info Meeting
A chance to come together, discuss where we are at as a team, club and society, and answer any questions from the membership. The operations committees document should be reviewed prior to attending.
ISPS Operations Meeting
Join Denise for an overview meeting covering roles, season plans, safety protocols, equipment expectations, and communication flow. Invited: steers, drummers, regatta manager, boat help and key holders, program coordinator, and equipment & maintenance leads. Bring questions and come prepared to confirm responsibilities and next steps so we can continue through the season aligned and ready to paddle and work as one.
Steers Training Session
This session introduces fundamentals of steering for new and developing steerspeople. You’ll learn boat set-up and safety checks, essential hand and foot positions for oar control, and basic techniques for guiding the boat smoothly.
We’ll emphasise clear communication between the helm and paddlers, and quick troubleshooting for common issues.
Who Should Attend: New steers people and developing steers looking to build confidence; paddlers who want to support steering practice are needed.
A WhatsApp steers poll will be created in our ‘Announcement’ area for those interested and those who can help paddle in the boat.

Community Paddle for Talitha Koum Society
This is a community service paddle to support the Talitha Koum Society, a non-profit society that helps women heal from trauma and addiction at two recovery homes and one bridging home in Coquitlam.
