Youth & U24 Recruitment Paddle
Do you know someone between 15 and 23 years old who might enjoy trying something new on the water?
The Inlet Spirit Dragon Boat Team is inviting youth and young adults to come out and give dragon boating a try at a special recruitment paddle at Rocky Point Park.
No experience is necessary. We’ll provide paddles, PFDs (lifejackets), and coaching — all you need to bring is comfortable athletic clothing and a willingness to try something new.

Launching OUR New Team: INLET STORM
This recruitment paddle is part of the launch of INLET STORM, a new Junior and U24 dragon boat team based in Port Moody. The program is designed to introduce young paddlers to the sport while building a fun and supportive team environment.
Dragon boating is one of the fastest-growing team sports in the world. In a dragon boat, 20 paddlers work together in rhythm to power the boat across the water. The sport combines teamwork, fitness, and excitement — while creating lasting friendships on and off the water.
