Community Support Helps Us Grow
ISPS Director, Marty ORourke receives a donation from Dr. Brian Bengtson in early June.
At Inlet Spirit Paddling Society, we are fortunate to be surrounded by community-minded individuals who believe in the value of sport, wellness, and connection. One such supporter is Dr. Brian Bengtson, a highly respected Tri-Cities dentist whose generosity is helping our club continue to grow and thrive.
For many years, Dr. Bengtson has provided exceptional dental care to patients of all ages throughout Coquitlam and the surrounding communities. Beyond his professional practice, he understands the importance of supporting local organizations that bring people together and create opportunities for individuals to lead active, healthy lives.
Recently, Inlet Spirit Board Director Marty ORourke had the pleasure of accepting a generous donation from Dr. Bengtson on behalf of the Society. The contribution will help support the continued development of our club, including programs that provide opportunities for new paddlers and youth athletes to discover the sport of dragon boating.
As a newly established club, Inlet Spirit is building more than just a team. We are creating a welcoming community where people of all ages can learn new skills, improve their fitness, challenge themselves, and develop lasting friendships. Support from local businesses and community leaders plays a vital role in helping us achieve these goals.
Dr. Bengtson's commitment to giving back reflects the spirit of community that makes the Tri-Cities such a special place to live. His support will have a positive impact on our members today and help strengthen opportunities for future paddlers for years to come.
On behalf of everyone at Inlet Spirit Paddling Society, thank you, Dr. Bengtson, for your generosity, encouragement, and belief in what we are building. Your support means the world to us, and we are truly grateful for your commitment to our community.
